It’s Time to Review Your Medicare Plan!

The calendar now reads October, the leaves are changing colors, and you might be grabbing your favorite sweater as the temperatures drop. If you are a Medicare beneficiary, there are some important dates coming up related to your Medicare plans for 2025. Medicare’s Open Enrollment Period begins on October 15 and runs through December 7. The time is now to review your plans!
This is an important time for people with Medicare to review their current plans, note any changes, and determine if it is still the best option for them. Since insurance companies can change plan premiums, deductibles, and co-pays each year, switching to a different plan could result in extra money in your pocket.

- Change from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage Plan
- Change from a Medicare Advantage Plan back to Original Medicare
- Switch from one Medicare Advantage Plan to another Medicare Advantage Plan
- Switch from a Medicare Advantage Plan that does not offer Part D drug coverage to a Medicare Advantage plan that does offer drug coverage
- Switch from a Medicare Advantage Plan that offers Part D drug coverage to a Medicare Advantage Plan that does not offer drug coverage
- Join a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan
- Switch from one Medicare drug plan to another Medicare drug plan
As you can see, there are lots of important decisions to make related to your Medicare coverage in 2025. Make a plan to review your Medicare coverage options for 2025 today! Any changes that you make will go into effect on January 1, 2025.
